modern vintage walls
As you might have noticed, I have only done modern idea posts. I am trying out modern vintage! My first tip for modern vintage is be careful with the walls . The walls make a very big difference in this style. You really have to even out modern and vintage furniture wallpaper and more. For example if you had very old wallpaper you might want more modern furniture. If you are going for a classy feel on the walls you might want a floral print or light colors (besides white). A way you can go modern is having black and white wallpaper just behind on surface, like just behind a fire place or a bed.

the home made picture line
this is a wire you hang pictures on for your room.
things you will need:
1.yarn or string
2.pictures/drawings
3.clothes pins
step 1. find two high up things in your room like a book shelf or a curtain rod.
step 2. tie the yarn or string in-between the two things
step 3. hang the pictures on the string or yarn with the clothes pins
step 4. stand back and see how it looks

colors that look nice
If you are changing your room or even just redecorating you might wonder how you make the colors look nice without using just 2 or 3 colors. How you do this is you have one or two pieces of furniture that are really colorful then the rest of the furniture are all the same color.😄

How To Make A Room Look bigger
1.paint the walls and ceiling bright colors2.put shelves close to the ceiling
3.pull furniture away from the wall
4.place mirrors around the room
5.do not use over head lights
6.leave your windows uncovered
7.use light cloors on wall/floor
8.put your things against you walls

Messy Rooms
I know most kids like me like there room to be messy. But the thing is it does not help anything the real reason you don't like having a clean room is you don't like cleaning it. But you have to because your parents make you.
It does not matter if you like basketball, plain rooms, even rooms with slides.
For example all your basketball things could get ruined in the mess, or all you books could get dirty, things could get stuck in your slide. At least thats what your parents think would happen.
So here are some tips that will hopfully make it easier:
If you have shelves you should get bins instead or just put bins on shelves. This might seem weird but it really helps. You can just dump your toys that were laying around into the bins instead of having to put them away in a form that makes them look nice. And remember you can buy bins at cheap stores, yard sales, thrift shops. You do not have to spend a bunch of money.
